Letter to Parents from the Head Teacher
March 30th 2021
SOUTH ACTON CHILDREN’S CENTRE
An Early Excellence Centre
Dear Parents and Carers,
I wanted to update you about plans for after the Easter Break. As you are aware, in response to the rise in Covid 19 cases after the Christmas Break, on 8th January we made some changes to our classes and classrooms in order to make our bubbles smaller and ensure all our children and staff were as safe as possible.
Now that the situation is improving and the current lockdown restrictions are gradually being eased we are going to revert back to how things were organised prior to the 8th January. This means that from Monday 19th April all the children who were in Chestnut, including those who are currently in Rowan Room with Chevone and Barbara, will be back in one group in Chestnut Room and should, therefore, be dropped off and collected via the top gate. Oak classroom will revert back to being one bubble with the children no longer split into two groups.
I realise that for a number of children the changes implemented in January resulted in a change to their Key Person. In order to prevent further disruption the children, wherever possible, will not need to change their Key Person again. Currently we are still not able to allow parents into the building but hopefully as restrictions ease further this will change later on in the Summer Term.
Again ,I want to thank you all for your continued support and patience during these difficult times and for the kind words and messages many of you have sent which have really been appreciated.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you require any more information or want to discuss this further.
I hope you all have a lovely, safe and peaceful Easter Break.
Kind Regards Bev
