Early Years Pupil Premium
The Early Years Pupil Premium (EYPP) is extra funding for 3 and 4 year old children whose parents are in receipt of certain benefits or are in the local authority's care. We receive an extra 53 pence per hour (£302 per year) for every child who is eligible and will use this money to obtain training, additional staffing, or resources to enhance their learning and development.

The number of children was 19 Amount received: £6498
How we used the funding in the 22/23 year to support the development of our children:
Due to the Covid pandemic:- We continued our focus on Personal, Social and Emotional Development in order to support the children from its impact.
To enhance the teaching and learning of Personal, Social, and Emotional Development, staff training was provided. The money was used to fund external trainers who mainly focused on music and completed a project across the year. We were also able to purchase and provide a wide variety of musical resources for the classrooms. We also set up emotion stations across the setting to support children’s emotional wellbeing.

The funding has contributed towards forest school training for all staff and forest school resources and equipment. From 01/04/22 this increased to 58 pence per hour (£342 per year)
