Curriculum

Our curriculum is informed by a strong and responsive pedagogy as we believe that all young children should be provided with a range of high quality opportunities inspired by awe and wonder. Through outstanding teaching and learning we deliver experiences that enables them to develop as active learners and creative and critical thinkers.  Embedding the mastery of skills, knowledge and attitudes to give children a passion for lifelong learning, and to prepare them to reach their full potential moving forwards.

Our co-constructed curriculum reflects and celebrates the rich diversity of our families, the local community and beyond.

We have worked hard to develop stimulating indoor and outdoor spaces which are thoughtfully planned and resourced for children to explore, experiment and follow their interests through first hand and purposeful experiences.

Our investment in staff training and Continuing Professional Development is reflected in our passionate and knowledgeable team who have an awareness of individual children’s needs and abilities and play a central role in improving and celebrating outcomes for all our children.

Alongside the statutory Early Years Foundation Stage, we have adopted the Birth to five Matters.  This recognises and enhances our philosophy of keeping the child and their family at the centre of everything we do. It encompasses a holistic and inclusive approach and allows us to reflect on recent research and current issues in society.
