Parent Team 

The Parent Team meets to:Influence the services provided by South Acton Children’s Centre and its partnersEnable parents to voice views/suggestions to South Acton Children’s Centre staff and or the Family and Community Team BoardReceive information about what is happening at the South Acton Children’s CentreKeep parents informed about the South Acton Children’s CentreSupport the programme to link with hard to reach familiesOffer a forum to support and embrace parents in an informal and friendly atmosphereEmpower and involve parentsEnable parents to receive specialised training and support where possible and relevantEnable parents and children to socialisePlan tripsPreparing proposalsAddressing grievances 

Membership  Any parent who is registered (on new registration form for Estart/ENursery) at the South Acton Children’s Centre is automatically a member of the Parent Team. 

Frequency of Meetings: Once a month date to be confirmed 

Representatives  The Parent Team has an elected Chair, Secretary and Treasurer who manage the meetings/monies raised by parents.
