Maths Library at SACC The Maths Library at South Acton Children’s Centre is a well resourced and well used provision. All families are encouraged to take out maths games to play with their children at home.  Every parent has an introductory meeting with the Maths Coordinator leading the Maths library. During this meeting parents/carers discuss their child’s development, achievements and difficulties. They are also offered support and shown ways how to develop their child’s mathematical skills through fun games and play. The games’ instructions are translated into the most common community languages. The games are issued weekly. The issued games are linked to the maths learning objectives for that week, giving the parents/carers information about the experiences their child is having in the nursery as well as providing a link for the child between the nursery and the home.

Maths Library is open every Tuesday in the Garden Room by invitation
